Branding & Identity
We specialize in institutional branding and identity. Every organization, institution, or association has an identity of course, whether controlled, intended, or not. Unfortunately, it's not always the appropriate or desired one because all too often there is little understanding of the relationship of identity with overall brand awareness of the organization in its marketplace. BMWW has developed a logical, businesslike, step-by-step process that reduces the subjective aspect of identity definition and branding. Our process begins with research and proceeds through core message development, analysis, brand promise, design, implementation, and periodic evaluation.
Through this process we build successful institutional brand identity that unifies all elements of a communications program and increases their impact. BMWW¹s branding and identity assignments encompass naming, nomenclature, and all design elements, to make an organization's special character clear, compelling, and consistent throughout a wide range of marketing communications. The result is a sustainable branding program that advances the institution in the marketplace.
Typically, we create new identity programs and graphic standards manuals as part of a major rebranding of an organization. This can be as sweeping as changing the name of the organization, where research supports the decision, or, as straightforward as improving the quality of graphics employed to clarify the image.
